摘要

•Ultra-fine Co nanoparticles are anchored on mesoporous carbon nanosheets.•The 2D structure is applied as separator coating matrix for Li-S battery.•Excellent adsorption and catalysis for lithium polysulfides are obtained.•The modified separator endows the cell with good rate and cycle capacity.
