摘要
Since February, 2022, over 15 million people have fled from Ukraine because of the Russian invasion. In Germany, over 1 million Ukrainian refugees have been registered since then with around 32% younger than 18 years of age.1 The prevalence of HIV infections in children and adolescents in Ukraine is markedly higher than in Germany with vertical transmission among the highest in Europe.2 The medical and psychosocial care of children living with HIV among refugees has been challenging. We report our experiences from a specialised paediatric unit at a university hospital in Germany.
