摘要
•The granitoids may record co-variation of crustal thermal condition and thickness.•This co-variation of northeastern Kazakhstan continent is found in 383–275 Ma felsic rocks.•Minor crustal thickening and low thermal condition occurred during the subduction.•Continental collision led to extremely thick and cold crust with a magmatic lull.•Rapid crustal thinning induced high thermal condition in post-collisional extension.
