摘要
•The structural effect on the electric field distribution of a micro-nano scale electrode system is proposed, and the instability tendency of the DBD deicing plasma could be restrained effectively, compared to their conventional counterparts.•The thermal vibrational instability mode of the DBD streamers that interact with the ice block is proposed as the major source of arcing catastrophe, and the outflow of the energetic electron flux could initiate a negative feedback process to stabilize the system, effectively.•Statistical factor of ST is proposed to account for the negative feedback mechanism about the outflow heat flux from the locally enhanced streamers and to evaluate the stabilization feature.
