摘要
•Salt-printing on sample surfaces provides a unique way to quantify atmospheric da/dN.•Atmospheric da/dN for deliquesced surface salt is ≈5 × faster at 80 % RH than 40 % RH.•Depending on frequency and salinity, atmospheric da/dN can exceed full immersion.•da/dN for AA7085 in chloride containing atmospheric environments is established.
