A Two-Stage DC-DC Converter with Wide Input Voltage Range Based on Magnetic Isolation Feedback Control

摘要
For the applications with wide input range, the two-stage structure can achieve a higher conversion efficiency than the single stage structure. The topology selection guidelines and the control of the two-stage DC-DC converter are discussed. Then, for the occasions where the isolation feedback is needed, a forward-converter-based magnetic feedback scheme is proposed, It has good temperature and radiation stability and hence used in military and space applications. Finally, a prototype composing of a front-end Boost converter and a rear-end LLC resonant converter, is fabricated in lab to verify the validity of theoretical analysis.
