Prospective of biosurfactant in management of fusarium wilt and early blight of Lycopersicon esculentum

•Biosurfactant was reported as an effective agent for disease management.•It displayed compatibility with biocontrol agent Trichoderma lixii TvR1.•Compatibility and biocontrol action of biosurfactant were concentration dependent.•Biosurfactant alone and with TvR1, significantly reduced disease severity.•It managed both soil-borne and foliar pathogens, showing broad activity spectrum.
