摘要
There is growing evidence that psychonutritional interventions are effective in mental disorders. Mediterranean, DASH and anti-inflammatory diets are effective in the treatment and prevention of major depressive disorders, as shown in multiple meta-analyses including dozens of observational studies. N-acetylcysteine, folate, zinc, and magnesium supplements may be effective in treating major depressive disorders according to the results of some randomized controlled trials with various risks of bias. Psychonutritional interventions could be particularly effective in preventing metabolic syndromes, a major risk of cancer, and cardiovascular diseases. We have developed a questionnaire derived from the French Programme National Nutrition Sante (PNNS) designed to explore psychonutritional behaviors in patients with mental disorders. We conclude with the recommendation that Psychonutritional interventions should be included in the international guidelines and taught in psychiatrists' training. (C) 2022 Elsevier Masson SAS.
