The pressure time integral: An underused, clinically significant parameter as a determinant of neuropathic ulceration in diabetes

•MPPP and PTI changes were analysed in the presence of active and history of neuropathic ulceration.•Minimal MPPP significant changes were observed.•Significant increase in PTI values detected under all plantar ulceration regions.•Evaluating duration of loads might be a better clinical tool for ulcer management and prevention.
