摘要

•The component of SO42− in CPM is mainly derived from SO3/H2SO4 in flue gas.•Metal sulfates in flue gas contribute less to the component of SO42− in CPM.•Interaction between SO2 and NH3 can increase the content of SO42− and NH4+ in CPM.•Positive bias of SO42− in EPA Method 202 caused by dissolution of SO2 is irresistible.
