Dual template using P123-gelatin for synthesized large mesoporous silica for enhanced adsorption of dyes

摘要
•Mesoporous silica (MS) with large mesopores was synthesized using a sol-gel method.•Dual template gelatin and Pluronic P123 was used for constructing mesopore structure.•MS-0.2 showed the highest adsorption capacity for MB adsorption.•Isothermal and kinetics of all MS followed Langmuir and pseudo second order.•MS-0.2 showed good potential as a reusable adsorbent for removing MB.
