摘要
•The EFG method with cohesive crack is developed to predict the shear crack growth in quasi-brittle materials.•The energy-based and Mohr-Coulomb criteria are used to determine the shear crack propagation direction.•Rock slope and highly pressurized tunnel are analyzed and the results are discussed with physical model tests for validation.
