We read with great interest the Article by Thijs Kuipers and colleagues.1 The authors found that significantly more patients had treatment success after peroral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) than pneumatic dilation after 5 years of follow-up. Because their findings are important to clinical practice, several questions deserve clarification.
