Indoor and outdoor 300-GHz-band wireless propagation experiments for beyond 5G application

摘要
The use of 300-GHz-band wireless links is currently being considered for the next generation of mobile communications, Beyond 5G, to achieve communication speeds exceeding 100 Gbit/s. Recently, research and development of 300-GHz-band mobile communications and wireless LANs in the 300 GHz band are underway. In order to realize these use cases, it is necessary to construct propagation models for reflection, interception, and diffraction by building materials, human bodies, and trees in the 300 GHz band. This paper presents the results of experimental investigation of reflection, shadowing, and diffraction by building materials, human bodies, and trees in the 300 GHz band.
