Lessons learned from a diversity and inclusion survey of the Maryland Radiological Society

•Most survey respondents agreed that MRS does important work to support radiology and radiologists in Maryland, and they are proud to be members of the MRS and ACR•Supporting political action and advocacy for radiologists and radiology at the state and national level was identified as a valuable aspect of MRS membership•MRS could improve diversity and inclusion by building relationships with other medical societies, hosting in-person networking events, and organizing a lecture exchange program for members•MRS could improve diversity and inclusion in the radiology workforce by student outreach at the high school, college, or medical school level to provide information about radiology as a career choice
