摘要
•Porous amorphous V2O5 films are produced by a room temperature photochemical route.•A bubble-templating mechanism is proposed for clarifying the formation of macropores.•The amorphous V2O5 films display enhanced multicolored electrochromic performance.•Pseudocapacitive electrochromism accounts for enhanced performance of amorphous V2O5.•Electrochromic devices based on porous amorphous V2O5 can be utilized for sun-glasses.
