Co single atoms anchored on MoS2 (Co1/MoS2) is demonstrated as a highly active and durable catalyst for electrocatalytic nitric oxide reduction to ammonia (NORR), attributed to the critical role of active Co1-S3 moieties to selectively absorb NO and accelerate the hydrogenation energetics.
