All textile-based robust pressure sensors for smart garments

•All textile-based flexible and mechanically robust pressure sensors were prepared.•The conductive networks in fabric layers were all embedded in elastomer substrates.•The sensor exhibited superior robustness and great comprehensive sensor performance.•The sensor can be integrated into garments to monitor human physiological activities.•It provides a facile but efficient strategy to fabricate wearable pressure sensors.
