Fully biodegradable PLA composite with improved mechanical properties via 3D printing

•Prepared PLA/PCL/TOBC ternary biodegradable composites via Pickering emulsion approach.•Analyzed the compatibilizing role of TOBC on PLA and PCL.•Studied the effect of PCL content on the mechanical properties, crystallinity and fluidity of the composites.•Provides an opportunity to produce fully biodegradable 3D printed parts.•Use in wide applications such as biomedicine and food packaging.
