摘要

•Local Nb alloying increased tensile strength by 125 MPa and elongation by 8 % for FGM of SS308L/IN625.•Local Nb alloying compensates depleted Nb in matrix to enhance solution strengthening.•Secondary phases precipitated with increasing Nb also improve FGM via precipitation strengthening.
