Effect of alloying element content on anaerobic microbiologically influenced corrosion sensitivity of stainless steels in enriched artificial seawater
Bioelectrochemistry(2023)
摘要
•Stainless steel alloying elements impact SRB sessile cell count considerably.•A lower PREN leads to more severe passive film damage and SRB corrosion.•MIC severity after 14-day incubation is 2205 SS < 316L SS < 304 SS < 410 SS.•410 SS has the lowest PREN, highest sessile cell count, and most severe MIC.•410 SS has 0.75 ± 0.12 mg/cm2 weight loss and 35 μm pit depth after 14 days.
