摘要
Decoupling is theoretically analyzed in dual-hollow-core anti-resonant fibers (DHC-ARFs) for the first time. We demonstrate that the decoupling is attributed to the coupling between core modes and dielectric modes on the cladding-tube wall. Moreover, the decoupling can be enhanced at any expected wavelength for different types of the DHC-ARF by adjusting the wall thickness of cladding tubes between two cores. This is beneficial to develop polarization-dependent hollow-core fiber (HCF) components by utilizing the decoupling in DHC-ARF to suppress the coupling of one polarized mode between two cores.
