The effect of grape-seed oil on diabetes-related hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, and inflammation in streptozotocin-induced diabetic rats

•GSO has diverse biological functions and possess beneficial roles in treating metabolic syndrome, obesity, diabetes, and dyslipidemia.•The aim of this study was to investigate the anti-hyperglycemic, anti-dyslipidemic, and anti-inflammatory effects of GSO in diabetic rats.•Our findings imply that regular administration of GSO improved dyslipidemia and hyperglycemia in diabetic rats in an experimental model.
