Inequalities in cancer prevention and care across Europe

Adopted as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the EU4Health programme is the fourth and largest of the EU health programmes since their launch in 2003. The programme will be a major contribution to navigating the long-term health challenges by fostering stronger, more resilient, and more accessible health systems in the EU than before. Europe's Beating Cancer Plan is a pillar of this new programme and aims to support member states' work to prevent cancer and to ensure a high quality of life for patients with cancer, survivors, and their families and carers.
