摘要

•Red blood cell (RBC) tracking velocimetry is sensitive to changes in hemoglobin (Hb) magnetic moment with O2 concentration.•RBC magnetophoresis follows classical Adair model of the Hb-O2 cooperative binding chemistry.•Practical applications include RBC sorting by differences in their O2 affinity, typical of blood disorders.
