The success story of complicated Streptococcus Gordonii infective endocarditis management: A case report

Infective endocarditis is a recognized complication that may occur post-dental procedure in high-risk patients. Streptococcus gordonii is one of the unusual causative organisms of infective endocarditis. We report a case of Streptococcus gordonii infective endocarditis involving mitral and aortic valves complicated with splenic abscess, stroke, and limb ischemia following a tooth extraction procedure.
