摘要
•Edge dislocations and defects were created on the surface of Sm0.06Ni.•The redox cycle of Ni2++Sm3+↔ Ni3++Sm2+ improved catalyst performance.•Sm0.06Ni catalyst has much lower Ea, higher TOF compare with NiO.•Sm0.06Ni catalyst exhibits excellent resistance to H2O, O2 and NO.•The activity of Sm0.06Ni was quite stable in the submitted real reaction condition.
