Exposure to metals and the disruption of sex hormones in 6–19 years old children: An exploration of mixture effects

•Metals mixture was positively associated with FAI and E2 among 12–19-old girls.•Exposure pattern with high levels of cadmium, manganese, and cobalt was associated with elevated E2 but reduced TT/E2 levels among 12–19-year-old girls.•Exposure pattern with high levels of lead, barium, strontium, and lead was associated with reduced FAI and E2 levels among 12–19-year-old boys.
