摘要
This paper highlights the importance of data calibration in wide-area, multi-temporal InSAR analyses, for improving data usability at a regional, national, and continental scale. The calibration process, based on GNSS data, can help the generation of high-quality, accurate and reliable databases of displacement data, ready-to-use by different types of final users. Calibrated data are easier to integrate with other information sources and can help limit spurious low frequency components associated with atmospheric effects and orbit errors, as well as mitigate possible edge effects between different processing units, quite common in wide area processing (WAP). The key point determining the quality of the calibration step is the spatial density of permanent GNSS stations available over the area of interest.
