Optimization of induction heating parameters for improving Self-healing performance of asphalt mixture through partial least square model

•Self-healing of steel slag-based asphalt mixture by induction heating was optimized.•Single-parameter and multi-parameter methods was used to improve healing ratio.•Collinearity among parameters were verified through uniform test.•Partial least square method was used to functional model between healing ratio and parameters.•Healing ratio can be enhanced to 75% through multi-parameter method.
