•The multi-patch IG-DRBEM based on the PIM for non-Fourier transient heat transfer in FGMs is proposed.•The application scope of IG-DRBEM is extended to random uncertainty analysis for the first time.•The hyperbolic truncated adaptive sparse PCE uncertainty quantification framework based on IGABEM is constructed.
