Analysis of Displacement Sampling Performance of Deep-sea Water Sampler Based on The Ratio of Height to Diameter of Sampling Chamber

The collection and research of deep sea water has always been a hot and key topic in the field of marine research. The gas composition information of seawater samples is one of the focuses of the research. In this project, a new type of deep-sea sampler is developed, which adopts the method of displacement sampling to sample the bottom seawater. Aiming at the height-diameter ratio of the sampling chamber, this subject uses CFD to study the sampling efficiency of the sampling chamber. The results confirm that the elongated sampling chamber helps to improve sampling efficiency.
