Facile synthesis of Flower-like ZnO loading Cellulose-Chitosan nanocomposite films by biomimetic approach with enhanced performance

Biopolymers cellulose and chitosan have been chosen to controllably synthesize curved ZnO nanoplates via biomimetic approach. As ZnO NPs dispersed uniformly in the cellulose/chitosan matrix, the as-prepared ZnO NPs decorating cellulose/chitosan matrix (CCZ) exhibited enhanced tensile strength, thermal property, photocatalytic and antibacterial abilities.
