摘要
The objective of the present study is to define potential biomarkers from the phonation of People with Autistic Spectrum Disorder (PwASD), with the purpose of better understanding the syndrome functional behavior regarding excitment and anxiety arousal when conducting phonation exercises, in order to be able of developing specific rehabilitation protocols contributing to improve their quality of life. The study of sustained vowel utterances from a male participant with autism and intellectual disability has allowed obtaining longitudinal estimations of vocal fold tremor, potentially associated with neurological excitment in performing vocalization tests. Relative important correlations have been found between the neurological and flutter tremor bands and surface skin conductance.
