Design of a 140GHz quadrature subharmonic mixer based on Schottky diode

摘要
In the context of increasingly tight spectrum resources, mixer, as an indispensable part of communication system, its research is of great significance to the promotion of communication technology. In this paper, the 3D electromagnetic simulation software HFSS and ADS software are combined. Based on the S parameters of 3D model based on HFSS contained in SNP file, ADS is used to represent the transmission characteristics of the circuit, and a subharmonic mixer based on Schottky diode is designed by partial simulation method. The design of quadrature subharmonic mixer is completed by combining subharmonic mixer with power divider. The results show that the conversion loss of the mixer in 130-150 GHZ band is less than 7.23dB.
