摘要
•A strong influence of the number of substituted heteroaryls at the non-K region of pyrene on the photophysical properties.•The increasing number of substituted heteroaryls results in red-shifted absorption and emission in the solution and in the solid state.•The quantum efficiency of pyrene derivatives increases with the increasing number of substituents at the non-K region of pyrene.•High thermally stable pyrene derivatives containing one, two or four 1-decyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole motif.
