摘要
•The temperature-adaptive chiral metamaterial is realized by sensing the environmental temperature based on shape memory alloy.•Reconfigurable circular dichroism is achieved through 3D morphological transformation.•Qualitative and quantitative analysis of surface currents reveals that the underlying physical mechanism behind chirality originates from the surge of multipole moments.•Reconfigurable spin-to-orbit angular momentum conversion is achieved based on the Pancharatnam-Berry phase.
