Risk of acute myocardial infarction, stroke, and venous thromboembolism among patients with anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody-associated vasculitis in South Korea: A nationwide population-based study

•The risk of cerebro-cardiovascular comorbidities in Korea was 2.3 times higher in AAV patients.•The risk of stroke, PE and VTE was significantly higher in AAV than in non-AAV patients.•The risk of stroke was the lowest in MPA patients.•The risks of VTE and PE were the highest in EGPA patients among AAV patients.
