摘要

•First responders frequently experience trauma, PTSD, and poor sleep.•PTSD and sleep disturbances were concurrently associated in our sample.•Most cross-lagged PTSD-sleep associations were null.•Responders with more sleep problems had greater PTSD symptom severity on average.•Evidence-based treatments for PTSD may benefit from targeting sleep.
