Interfacial Engineering for High-Performance DPPT-TT Polymer Transistors with the On/Off Ratio of 108 and Mobility of 3 cm2V−1s−1

Polymer transistors with low contact resistances, high on/off ratios, and excellent mobilities are expected for electronic applications. In this work, we demonstrated to improve the transport features of DPPT-TT polymer transistors by the synergetic chemical modifications of polymer-dielectric and polymer-metal interfaces with high-quality OTS and PFBT SAMs, respectively, resulting in the low contact resistance of 82 Ωcm, the high on/off ratio of 10 8 , and the excellent mobililty of 3 cm 2 V −1 s −1 . Our results suggest that high-density OTS and PFBT monolayer are promising for high-performance polymer transistors with reduced trapping sites and minimized contact resistances.
