Study on the Radiation Enhencement of Electrical Small Antenna in Plasma Sheath

摘要
In this paper, a new method based on the resonance matching of electrical small monopole antenna and subwavelength plasma sheath for suppressing communication interruption of hypersonic vehicle is proposed, which can achieve normal communication in the plasma sheath without changing the operating electromagnetic frequency (L and S band). The simulation model is established with CST software. The effect of electron density, collision frequency and thickness of plasma sheath is studied in detail.
