Co-channel Interference Suppression Method based on Multi-beamform Processing in Passive Bistatic Radar

Since the interference signal is difficult to remove from the surveillance signal, the possible interference has influence on detecting target in PBR system. Aiming at this problem, interference signal suppression method based on multi beam channel processing is proposed. In this method, the interference signals are suppressed sequentially according to the signal energy of the beam channel. The sample of interference signal is acquired by comparing the signal energy in the beam channel. Simulation results illustrate that the main lobe and sidelobe interference problem in PBR system could be solved by this novel method.
