Wiener model identification of a pH plant with ELM

A methodology of identification in two stages is applied to model a nonlinear process with the block-oriented modelling structure. We find a Wiener model using a network Extreme Learning Machine to obtain the nonlinear block and Laguerre filters to represent the linear block. The methodology is applied to a pH neutralization plant, finding very good performance results. Insights in select some parameters to get better results are highlighted.
