Detection Algorithm of QRS Wave and R Peak based on Adaptive Energy Segmentation

In the cutting-edge applications related to ECG, it is necessary to obtain the accurate positions of QRS complexes and R peaks in ECG, but the existing QRS complex detection algorithms are not accurate enough under interference conditions. Aiming at this problem, an accurate detection algorithm of QRS wave and R peak is proposed. The method is preprocessed by an adaptive baseline drift filter, which effectively suppresses the interference. R-wave peaks were identified using moving average filtering and adaptive energy segmentation. After verification by the MIT-BIH arrhythmia database of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Se of the detected R peak is 79.40%, and the Sp is 97.80%. The experimental results show that the algorithm is simple and effective with high accuracy and is suitable for practical applications.
