摘要
•This study longitudinally examined how maturity status and growth tempo influenced vertical stiffness (KV; an indicator of movement coordination) in a hopping task.•Maturity status and growth tempo were related to KV mean and variability over time.•Higher growth tempo was related to temporary disruptions in KV capability (not variability).•Similar methodological procedures may identify further characteristics of movement coordination disruption during heightened growth in adolescents.
