A model to simulate SEMG signals of different muscles

摘要
This work describes a model which is able to simulate the surface electromyography (sEMG) of different muscles. The model assumes that each muscle is controlled by many motor units (MU). Therefore, the motor unit action potential (MUAP) can be mathematically formulated as the spatiotemporal sum of divers potential actions produced by its fiber muscles. We evaluate the sEMG of four different muscles: soleus, tibialis anterior, dorsal interossei and platysma muscles.
