摘要
In recent years, perovskite nanocrystals (NCs) have shined in wide-color gamut backlight display applications. However, traditional methods for preparing perovskite NCs strict their backlight applications. Compared with the preceding method, a series of high-quality CsPbX3 (X = Br, Br/I) perovskite NCs glass with tunable wavelength were successfully synthesized by water quenching method without subsequent annealing engineering. The excellent optical performance of CsPbBr1.2I1.8 and CsPbBr3 NCs glass was attributed to the rapid cooling rate, which preserves the highly uniform glass structure at high temperature. Excitingly, the color coordinates of CsPbBr1.2I1.8@glass powder are (0.708, 0.289), which is very close to Rec. 2020 standard. Furthermore, the CsPbBr1.2I1.8/CsPbBr3@glass@PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) composite film was prepared by the copolymerization method. A high-powered backlight liquid crystal display was designed with a color gamut area ratio reached 90% of Rec. 2020 and 120% of NTSC (National Television System Committee) 1953. This research has a significant role in directing the synthesis of time-saving, cost-effective CsPbX3 NCs glass, demonstrating that the perovskite glass prepared by directly water quenching has an excellent potential in the optoelectronics industry.
