Output synchronization analysis and PD control for coupled fractional-order neural networks with multiple weights

This paper discusses the output synchronization for multiple weighted coupled fractional-order neural networks (MWCFONNs) with certain and uncertain parameters, respectively. By utilizing the properties of Mittag–Leffler functions and the Laplace transform, some output synchronization criteria for MWCFONNs are established. Moreover, a proportional-derivative (PD) controller is proposed to deal with the output synchronization for MWCFONNs, and two output synchronization criteria are derived on the basis of the Lyapunov functional method and inequality techniques. Finally, two numerical examples are utilized to verify the effectiveness of the output synchronization criteria.
