摘要

•We compared nine different eGFR formula in a Japanese population.•Japanese creatinine-based eGFR was lower than eGFR values from other formulas.•Japanese creatinine-based eGFR had a V-shaped difference with eGFRCKD-EPI 2021.•Choice of the estimation method needs caution, especially at a higher eGFR range.
