摘要
This paper presents a novel 1 bit electronically reconfigurable transmitarray antenna (ERTA) with radar cross section (RCS) reduced flexibly. By exciting different PIN diodes, the reconfigurable transmitarray element (RTE) has two transmission states and two reflection states for x- and y-polarized waves, respectively. The phases of two transmission states exhibit a 1 bit phase difference of 180° from 9.2 GHz to 10.2 GHz. The phase difference between two reflection states is 180 ± 55° over the same working frequency range. The proposed antenna has the advantages of reconfigurable radiation and scatting patterns, which can realize wide-angle scanning up to ±60°, RCS reduced flexibly, and an aperture efficiency of about 18.9% at 9.7 GHz.
